I don’t know what the hotels cost there, but we found a very reasonable hotel in Athens ($50) per night and it was clean and very charming. The food was reasonable too.

Leukada is my favorite place for vacation, after Crete of course!! It’s a very beautiful island, full with trees, little cute villages and exotic beaches! The water is crystal clear, the hospitality of the people is unforgettable and the food is soooo delicious!!! Love Leukada!
