I put up with a few jabs here and there from my relatives (being a S. Pacific kid with a Cypriot-influenced name has had its moments), but it has developed an intense curiosity about Greek, Turkish and Cypriot culture, with the goal to eventually make it into Cyprus - and to the city I was named for.
